Hispanic Formats

To clarify, Spanish is not a format. Depending on the region, ethnic origin, formats deliver different demos and rely on each unique tempo-based music from parts of Latin America. For instance, Regional Mexican formats focus on Men 18-49; Spanish Adult Contemporary (AC) or Hot AC targets Women 18-49; Tropical formats target Persons 25-54; Spanish Talk/Sports targets Men 25-54. In some of our top ten markets. Just like its general market, AC counterpart, our AC “Viva” format has a propensity for higher at work listening due to its softer music mix which resides on the FM dial. These will only occur in parts of the country where the Hispanic population has reached critical mass.
